Tried the demo for the Yooka-Laylee remake; it is so different from the original game (remaking the whole game to be more like a modern platformer like Mario Odyssey instead of one like the 90s) that they should have just made a sequel instead.
I did enjoy the demo though, it felt so new and cool that I want to buy it.
Not sure about the Switch 2 version though, the performance is atrocious. Playtonic says they will be making a patch for it, but they released the demo before they finished the patch, which is weird. Game is gorgeous and the gameplay is satisfying and pleasant. The great soundtrack even got the real orchestra treatment.
